Funding is available via two programs:


Hardship Grants Program (rolling program)


The Community Organisation Hardship Grants Program aims to provide financial assistance to eligible community organisations that provide essential services to vulnerable residents impacted by COVID-19. Groups may be either experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 or seeking to establish alternate service delivery models for business continuity.

Grants from $500 to $5,000 are available.

Recovery Grants Program

The Community Organisation Recovery Grant Program aims to provide financial assistance to eligible local community organisations to assist with recovery from COVID-19 impacts.

Activities that may be supported under this program include:

  • Direct financial assistance to community organisations impacted by COVID-19 to support them with re-establishment, sustainability and recovery activities.
  • Operational projects to support community organisations to continue the delivery of services via new programs or alternative service delivery models.
  • Projects that increase the community’s capacity to address local needs.
  • The purchase or maintenance of equipment to assist with operations including digital inclusion.
  • Minor asset maintenance or renewal for emergent or safety purposes.

Grants from $1,000 to $5,000 are available.
